Ceres and the demise of Twinkies

When the closure was announced on Nov. 16th, Ceres was conjunct Hades (approx 30' orb).  There is a junk food component to Ceres/Hades (scroll down for what happened when Ceres conjunct Hades and Venus)

Ceres turned Rx at 3 degrees of Cancer on November 1st.  Labor negotiations broke down at the station while Ceres TRINED Saturn in Scorpio. (It's usually more about the nature of the planets than the +/- aspects.)

In your own charts, Saturn/Ceres transits commonly correspond with food restriction of one kind or another.  Often it's imposed on you--some health condition limits what you can eat, or some food disagrees with you.  

You can choose it to start a diet.  I began a fast with Sun SA the Saturn/Ceres midpoint. When P. Venus=Saturn/Ceres, a friend asks me to help her with diet.

Aretha Franklin lost 85 pounds after surgery (debate about gastric bypass or pancreatic cancer).  Her SR contained an exact square between Saturn and Ceres.  P. Ceres was was 7' past Saturn (221/2).   Chiron was also within a couple of minutes of orb.
