Abortion Doctor Is Shot to Death in Kansas Church, this occurred with Chiron stationary with Zeus. This is also interesting in light of the birth control theme of Jupiter/Neptune/Chiron/Zeus around May 23 (see the blog entry for May 23). There's a contact of Neptune/Zeus/Chiron (and Admetos) with Venus around July 2nd and that should have something to do with birth control, stem cells or some related issue.
The really weird symbolism associated with this event was the shooter had the north node conjunct his Venus in Aquarius. Most people have pleasant relationship or cultural events when they have this contact!
Back to the Chiron station...there were other events with doctors who'd been wounded or were otherwise in trouble, altho some of them seemed more about Chiron just being stationary Rx or conjunct Neptune.
