Here's one way prediction can go wrong.
Spielberg has natal Cupido=Saturn/Uranus, also conjunct the IC.
T. Saturn has stationed there.
With no reference to Pluto whatsoever, this picture would certainly indicate a contentious situation--and considering his profession--probably regarding art/entertainment* and location, but not necessarily related to money. In part, the astrologer's problem is not knowing the details of what resulted from his financial loss.
In his '07 SR (the event occured 4 days before his birthday) Spielberg had Pluto=Saturn/Uranus (64H/1' orb) which is a picture that also appears in Madoff's natal chart and specifically indicates contention in a financial situation.
*Today's obits included the guy who wrote "One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest". He had N. Cupido=Saturn/Uranus (64H/approx 11' orb). Here's a quote: "He feuded with producers, with lawyers and with collaborators.
And never attended ceremonies to receive the awards he won. “I seem to offend or intimidate people”
Kevin Bacon has a couple of natal pictures that are much less ambigious for financial problems. He's got Pluto=Saturn/Uranus (64H/approx 5' orb. No time of birth for him but none of these planets move quickly enough to make a big difference) And he's also got Pluto=Hades (22 1/2 approx 19' orb). No pictures jump out in his SR. By transit Saturn is more than a degree away from his natal Sun/Pluto picture.
His wife Kyra Sedgwick has N. Saturn=Pluto (opposition/approx 11' orb) but no transit I could detect and altho she had Pluto opposite Hades in her SR, they were not in aspect to anything personal. But we have no time for her either.
