The Illinois University Shooter

DOB 11 26 1980

It happened on Valentine's Day. His relationship had broken up a few months ago but he was still living with the woman.

There's a strong Libra undertone to the chart. He had Mars in Libra and his Sun was 3 Virgo--the Libra duod of Virgo. (Yes, and of course he's in the midst of a major Saturn transit)

This was the transit that set him off:
Venus=Saturn/Admetos was a natal picture on the 90 degree dial (40' or less orb), describing cold conditions, limitation, being stuck and feeling stuck in personal relations.

T. Mars was on this picture at the time of the murders and had been on it a few days earlier, before the station. And T. Mars was was 27 minutes away from conjunct T. Hades on the day of the shooting so T. Hades had alrerady been hitting off that Venus/Saturn/Admetos picture for quite some time.

Other pictures in the natal chart:

Mars=Mercury/Hades.
At no time of day was Mars farther than 18 minutes away from Mercury/Hades which according to Witte, is thoughts of suicide.

Sun/Hades=Aries
Extreme illness; criminal acts.

N. Sun/Hades midpoint is never farther than 18 away from Aries (64H) at any time that day.

Zeus = Aries
Firearms

At no time of day was Zeus further than 5' away from Aries. The complete natal picture was Zeus=Node= Admetos=Aries. That may even describe the shooting itself or some other contacts he had in the gun world.

Today's obits
Node=Hades=Cupido=Apollon (22 1/2 degrees/within 1 degree)
Advocate for lepers. Marxist. Seeing grim poverty in and around his father’s large estate, he gave up his lucrative law practice in his early 30s and began working with untouchable sweepers and night soil carriers.

In the movement to get the British to leave India in 1942 he organized lawyers to defend the movement’s jailed leaders. He was also arrested and imprisoned.

His life was privileged, but even in his youth, he rebelled against injustice and discrimination on the basis of birth, caste and creed. Despite his parents’ disapproval, he often ate with servants and played with lower-caste children

Murlidhar Devidas Amte — later known by the honorific “baba” (DOB 12/24/1914)
